We had the tabs first so I crushed them into powder and added it to chocolate, ice cream etc but she still knew it was there! She's too clever for her own good.

We tried it in chocolate milkshake, she had one sip and that was it, completely refused anymore! She's so stubborn aswell! My eldest loves medicine - they're so different. :wall:

Glitter nail varnish  hadn't thought of that, but I'd need about a gallon of the stuff:eek: remember how many kids will be making them:D:D I normally mix the glitter (from the £ shop) with white glue (from the £ shop). They end up looking like tacky ornaments (from the £ shop);)

Logging in from the hotel up in Kettering so bear with me as I'm on the laptop!

TMK - thanks for that lush picture of DB at the top of this page - so worth logging back on tonight for him alone :D

littleholly - I read all that blog you linked to a few pages back about different kids that won't try medicine. I can't imagine how hard it must be for you, I can't ever remember it being an issue when I was young. Mum just used to say take this & you'll feel better sooner & I did - it must be so awful for you & your DH. Have you thought about the icicle one where it numbs her taste buds so she can't taste it? Sounds quite traumatic for you all having to hold her down :( As the parents on that blog said - we need tasteless meds or patches to help folk in your situation. Hope you get the news you want from the docs tomorrow. *hugs*
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

Thanks vg. I've never heard of numbing the tongue before, sounds like a good idea. I think we might give that a try in the morning before I phone the docs!
