Bella, they were different times and Mums often got judged if they were alone and pressured to give up their babies. It happened with my Mum and as she was being abused by her father she was in bad shape psychologically, was even sectioned while pregnant. It meant she was never able to cope well and I ended up being abused by them, which in turn led me to a violent marriage and now my own baby being in danger. God may have taken you down your road for a reason, and life has made you a fantastic Mum yourself because of your history as you clearly have a great relationship and much love in your home. Maybe her giving you up was an ultimate act of love?

for a start I must say: the pumpkin has been growing in the garden for ages but only a bit turned orange, anyway we decided to carve it today:eek::D and ps also my camera is crap:rolleyes:
pps it weighs a tonne, dh had to cut a chimney in the pumpkin cos the candles kept going out:rolleyes:

Yes please would love to see pumpkin I hate being a haloween humbug just makes me nervous waiting for teenagers to bash on the door!!
