I never sweat the housework, it always gets done, cos i dont sleep well im up around 5ish most mornings, i go for a jog as paul is still sleeping and take the puppy, then i do an hour or so housework before i drop paul off for train xxx
then i comp lol!
if i dont get it all done big deal, rather than juggle i will just devote time to one thing at a time otherwise i get all anxious, it takes the littlest thing to set people off we all have our triggers, i rarely leave the house without paul or evan as i dont do outside too well, but we plan around that, comping is my therapy as i enjoy it and it distracts me from niggling things, you will be ok splodz, just take life one day at a time xxx dont thank me for my time!!! i so get u on this one xxxx and ditto love comps board xxx
Edit: a lovely lady on here sent me a massage bar last week to calm me down!!! how wonderful is that?!!!.....so many genuinley nice peeps on here xxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -

Splodz, try some real slow deep breathing if you are away from home, six breaths at least. If you are at your desk try tensing all your muscles, then starting from your toes all the way up to your head/neck get right in touch with relaxing them, feeling the sensation of letting the tension go. Helps if you think of a beach or somewhere that holds happy memories. Sometimes works for me if I am out and feel a panic coming on.
Otherwise all the advice given is good, especially about decluttering house/mind/etc. Removes all the peripheral worries and you see what you actually have.
Oh, and talk on here. Always works for me!But there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!0 -
Have you tried a magnetic bracelet for your aches and pains, takes about 3 weeks to start working, maybe all in the mind but that with physio helped my frozen shoulder last year still wear one most days. Also use Bachs drops when very stressed, (dh and kids say I'm always stressed), stress about things that may happen.
Only thing I don't stress about is housework, do the basic keep it clean, tidy and as uncluttered as possible.Silver Surfer, Always Smiling

We have a severe weather warning here. I blame Iwannabeonthebeach who mentioned Ottery carnival last night - they have only been hit the worst haven't they. You have jinxed it!!!!!
Have to take DD13 to Primark to spend her birthday money. Boo hoo, I HATE the rain, and it's torrential with strong winds too.But there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!0 -
i swear by lavender essential oil to calm me down, last year i was having panic attacks and bad ones all the time, diagnosed with mild agrophobia and started cbt which helped a lot as i learn why i was panicking and that i had to remain positive and ty deep breathing to relax. I am now a lot better as i can leave the house now without having panic moments.
i love aromatherapy and am always mixing up oils etc and find them so relaxing, lavender is great as just a whiff of it is enough to calm down people somewhat and is great if you have trouble getting to sleep.0 -
Not a drop of rain or flake of snow here. VERY cold though... scarf still firmly around my neck!
Desk is now clear.Gonna get some antibac spray from the kitchen next and make it all clean and nice smelling!

its amazing what smells can do!! I know what you mean about lavender, it is great for calming, am avoiding it at the moment coz it was my mum's fav too & reminds me a bit too much atmBurning incense is my thing, so many to choose from and so cheap & eco friendly. Love the oils too. Have a few diff things in my room which also has my altar and smells lovely
Kids come in to chat and calm down in there too, even my 13 year old commented just last night about it.
