Xbox 360 Stock availability updates

Just got my 360 full system from argos; thanks to OP. Ordered last week after seeing this thread.

So Argos are delivering orders.

I ordered mine on Thursday too and still havent arrived yet. About what time did you receive it?

I ordered mine Thursday (core system - around 3pm) and it arrived this morning at about 12noon.

Please note items bought in 'bundle deals', such as 2 for 30.00 GBP or hardware and software packs, if returned separately, will result in the full price being charged for other items in the special offer - and the refund adjusted accordingly.

To me that is clear they will accept returns from bundled items, either 1 item or the full bundle.

Anyway, just got off the phone from a supervisor (called me back after an hour and a half, so happy with that).

I went through "i am a member of website that has media relations, solicitors" ( ) etc...and then went on to the fact of their own terms and conditions and explained just because a person says no that is not correct and by their own terms and conditions they will be breaching them and i will be writing to both your head office and my solicitor.

And got the reply "Well on this occassion as a goodwill gesture you can return them".

Result!! (but why do they always say as a goodwill gesture? They were under a legal responsibility to allow me to return them........!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I ordered the core system from argos friday morning at 6am went all thru checkout etc only to be told not in stock so did it again same reply even had 2 e-mails saying i was not being charged as items were not in stock GUESS WHAT just turned up in plain white van yep 2 core systems !!

I tried a total of 8 times for a Full system - right through to the payment details and then no stock. So lets hope a Full system turns up today...

I am very happy - ordered a core system from Argos on Thursday about 2:45pm and it has just turned up!!!

There are still some out there! keep trying everyone!
