help to logon to windows needed please

    Erm....you need to re-boot with the CD in the drive.

    In addition, I'm not altogether confident that you have created the CD in the correct manner.

    thank you i will try this after work and hopefully will get a result.
    loaner- apologies for not getting back to you regarding laptop issue i have not had much chance to look at it this weekend. i will try again to download and install erd.if it comes up error again i will post back what it says. also when i have installed it ready to burn to cd do i just burn it as i would any cd or is it one with iso image.if so how do i do that

    No, you have to choose write image file to disc.

    loaner i managed to burn the erd50iso to disc. it loaded from cd all seemed to be going well then it came up the usage period for this boot has expired??

    well i dont believe it i have managed to burn the erd commander cd an run it on laptop. however it wont let me restore . it just stops doing anything when i press to restore.

    have sorted pc in sons room. still cant do anything with the laptop even though i can now run erd commander
