Ok, trying to post a pic on here... These are the swatches from Sweetsend:

no3 is left bottom, no31 is right bottom, no 12 is top right....



For other girls' reference, here is the chart for Landy:

Would you say both no3 are the same and no31 are the same too? they are very close on their colour chart.

number 3 is lighter than the bottom right but darker than bottom left.
The milly swatch for burgundy is the same as bottom right.

Number 3 on the actual landy chart is much darker than on the picture of the landy chart.

The maggiesottero original will more than likely be in 100% pure Duchess satin (which retails around £30-£40 per meter)And there is a MASSIVE differencde to this silk fabric opposed to synthetic. It is thick and luxurious. When ordering copies, what you normally get is a copy of the style. Many of these big designers have fabric houses that are exclusive to them so having the exact "sparkle" on your gown will undoubtedly be different. Similar, but different. Much like embroideries, laces etc. They are not redily available to the general public/manufactures.

Ahhh, I thought I could order from Landy and still make it match with the Sweetsend's colours if Sweetsend cannot make my dress.

Madfrenchgirl, do not be deceived by colours on screen. They are very different to those in the flesh. Always rely on the swatch you have in your hand. (eventhough at times batch dyes can be different albeit everso slightly) HTH

I orded the dress from Landy in Feb, but received it the end of April. I can tell you the sparkles around the top look so nice, but pay more attention, if you could bear with many small problems...since the quality is so-so.

I orded one dress from Landy, but I have to say the quality and service is so-so. Since international department didn't reply my email in few days, then i called them and turned to national department(I'm chinese) to order one dress.

After 2 months waiting, i received the pics from Landy before they shipped it out. THen the nightmare started. I was so shock that the dress was changed so much, it didn't look like the original pic at all!!! I even didn't recegnize it when I saw the pics. And the belt was dark grey, who will use this color on the ivory wedding dress!! And also other small problems, of course, i complained a lot, then Landy promised me that they would adjust the dress and change the belt, then they spent ONE month...when i received it, I realised that What all Landy did during ONE month was only changing the belt...but the belt still had problem, one side was higher than the other side...Then i also found that in the front there was one flower at right side but nothing at left side. I hope no body could really see the difference on my wedding this June.

However, I even paid more than the price on the website just for what they said--brand quality...(because i was told clearly that the price on the website was just for standard quality, if i want something better, they had brand quality. It sounds good, so i went for brand quality) then you know what happened, when i received the dress, i was informed by DHL to pay import tax and VAT, because they put one commercial invoice inside the pakage but told me that nothing in the package, which mentions value 43 USD..Nobody trusts this value, but pretty sure this is the commodity already, then i need to prove how much i paid, then pay the import tax!!!112euros.

OK, these are all not big deal, but i have to say the service is so bad, you never know what happened, you always need to ask them whether it is shipped out or not, otherwise, you never get the trading code.

I'm not telling something bad at back of Landy, honestly, I have seen many good comments. So maybe I am just unlucky. If anyone wants, I could send you pics to show you how different between the real dress and original pic.

Lindaweiwei, I take it you had a bad experience with Landy...... :rolleyes:

lindaweiwei you don't have to post the same thing in every landy thread.. it seems a bit like spamming.
If you're a genuine user you may want to stop posting in every landy post about how "bad" they are.
