I am going to order my swatches on friday I think. Just need the burgundy and ivory though. Although they don't have any other colours to close to those so it shouldn't be a problem really, just being nosy lol, Tiger x

Hi everyone. I have decided to go with Landy to make my dress. It is a lovely dress I fell in love with when I went to Milan for the Easter holiday.

They have sent me an email to get my measurements taken by a professional. What did everyone else do? I don't mind paying a bit to have a professional take my measurements but I have no idea/clue who to ask.

Did you ask someone at a bridal store or laundry (u know the ones that do repairs and amends as well).

    Thanks.

Babynada, welcome! My tips would be to shop around, get the best deal you can, look into doing as much as you can yourself such as flowers, the cake and the invitations and buy from Ebay. I have found so many bargains on there, including my shoes, which only cost £2.50, Tiger x

the milly burgundy is actually the one labelled burgundy on their site.
With landy they have a dark burgundy (31) and a slightly lighter one (3).

OOh thanks for that JayJay. So the burgundy one is the one that says burgundy on the swatch on the Milly site. Did you order the wedding dress colours. If so, what is the ivory like? Thanks again x

yes because the red is BRIGHT red i mean really bright, burgundy is def burgundy.
I ordered Ivory and Light champagne but the ivory looks white, it looks light ivory against the landy swatch though.

Has anyone ordered Maggie Sotteros Michelle from Landy? Clicky
I've seen the photos of it on Milly but wondered about the Landy one. Im worried the sparkle around the top wont look as nice as the original.

Im still a year away (at least ) from having to order but i cant stop looking at it, its beautiful!
