3 Mobile ZTE Broadband Farce

I am sure there are previous threads regarding this, infact i read a few, but there were no outcomes!
I have had the ZTE (black and green coloured) '3' mobile broadband for around 4 months. It worked straight out of the box for about 2 of them, then for two months i have tried unsuccesfully to get it fixed! It stopped without warning one day, and i had not ammended the settings or programs on my computer. It just doesnt seem to have ANY software inside. I have been given my modem back on 5 seperate occasions aparently 'repaired' and i quote , ''checked and guaranteed'' but it has never worked. They now gave me a 'new' one. (it might be a refurb), and still nothing. The customer service is pretty good - polite and at least seemingly leading to a conclusion, but its nothing more than troubleshooting..I have read that some pepole have experienced lots of problems with the software installation ..Has anyone tried the 'white' modem from '3' .Is it better ?- it is a diffeernt make. the service seems very intermittent , or in mycase completely zero.
