    Afternoon all

Yesterday I : stripped my bed, did two loads of washing and dried it all, dusted and vacuumed all the bedrooms. Vacuumed the landing and bathroom/toilet. Cleaned the mirrors. Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs. Went out shopping with DD2 in the afternoon. She's getting stuff for her flat. She's not moving until at least January but she's very excited....

Today I: Stripped and remade DD2's bed. Did three loads of washing (including throws from the living room) and half of it is dry and put away already. Cleaned the bathroom and toilet. Vacuumed through downstairs. Cut the grass back and front and swept up in the garden. Went over shops to pay paper bill, I took the dog but she was very tottery on the way back and she's limping now so I've given her a dose of metacam along with her incontinence medicine.

    Time to dish up dinner.

Don't you just hate it when you do a piece of work, read it through and it makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever or doesn't answer the question posed properly :mad::mad::mad: Consoling myself by watching DD bounce around the livingroom playing air guitar to Living on a Prayer :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi everyone especially all the newbies.

I haven't been here at all this week. I am in the midle of a 'flare up' and am trying to keep really positive. It isn't going to last long!! I have to keep telling myself that!

DH has a huge abcess on his gum too, so we are being two old, sick people together!! That wasn't very positive I will change it to ' We are spending quality time together watching old movies in front of a blazing fire!' We didn't wake up until 10.10 this morning!

Flying is being done by anyone I can persuade to do it.

Hugs hun - hope you sort it - at least those days are long gone when you had to write it out longhand or get someone else to type up for you...

Your DDs antics remind me that I heard on the radio that someone had a little girl who has asked for an air guitar for christmas:rotfl: :rotfl:
hope they let her down gently...tempting though it would be to give her an empty box I think that would be far too traumatic! Mind you DS says he would enjoy xmas without the gifts because we get together as a family - 3 generations - and play games and stuff...so that's him sorted then:rolleyes:

I cannot give any real help with the children issues as I unfortunately don't have any, but I would like to offer my support to everyone having to deal with other peoples children. My sister and I had very different ideas about how to treat my nephews, but in the end they learnt that in my house, they had my rules to follow and that they often were different to how their mum did it. I was stricter in some ways and more relaxed about other things, but they seemed to adapt really quickly when here. But of course, they were here a lot so I guess it was almost a second home.

Anyway, I do feel for you all, though wish I could have had a few of my own! Not having children is something I always regret, but I know it just wasn't meant to be.

*Hugs* to all and hope you all have a good day flying!
