Well you need to have a talk with mum, and toughen her up!!
she worries that the cat doesn't like her...:rotfl: :rotfl:
the rule is thatwhen we are out the cat is...well sometimes mum has to ransack the house - she's got a new hiding placeI just say 'out' and off she trots like a good little puss..now If I could get my kids to obey my commands like that I would be laughing...
OMG that word puss had a y after it... so it was exclamation marks instead...
I don't believe it!
Anyway flying has started - I have filled the washer...and washed some pots.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

If so is anyone in touch with her, there is a thread in the arms which she started and she sounds very stressed and in need of a friend! Just wondered if anyone remembered her... Thread is now called 'Please Delete' or something similar.
Yes I remember Hev, she was trying to kick a diet coke habit from memory, drinking anything up to 6l a day :eek:Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

I have aquestion as well:_
I was nosing someone's profile today, as I wanted to know something from a comment they made, but didn't have the courageto pm them direct.
But the profile only hold 12 pages of their posts, so where do the rest go, is there a way of find them?Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

So Toots, what are your ebay stats now?!
And you and Dusty need to get your gas/electricity sorted out soon. You're wasting money
That goes for any of the rest of you who haven't yet checked whether you're on the best deal recently too. You can switch regularly, so don't spend more than you have to. You neve know, you might even be able to switch the heating on occasionally :rotfl:
I'm VERY pleased that I didn't make up my mind about my mortgage the other week... as the rate has just gone down from 6.49% to 6.19%, and if I'd fixed it would have been on 6.29%. Sometimes being indecisive works:beer:
No flying done today, despite Pigpen very kindly scheduling the study for meas work has been pretty much flat out. I think I need it to be warmer if I'm going to try to do anything - I'm in hibernation mode at the moment.
I've just been reviewing my objectives as set at the beginning of the year, and have realised that I either need to get them amended, or I'm going to fail dismally... I've been doing something completely different
On the heating front, I had my heating on today coz I hate being cold, but got a bit carried away and it got too warm... Have now set it at 15-16 degs so that I'm not freezing but not hot either - it only really comes on now in evening and probably in the morning - stops me wasting energy but also stops me freezing up and hibernating in the corner - might be worth a try, coz if it's too cold your pipes may freeze (alright, not quite that cold yet!) and that is a whole 'nother ball game...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Quick question :
I cooked a ready meal chicken curry with rice about 6.30 - haven't eaten it yet as DD decided to bombard me with a load of questions when I went to put her to bed.:mad: Would it be safe to eat it as it is or should I throw it away? Its been sat on the worktop still sealed in its plastic (its not a stir mid-way one) and is full of condensation  The packet says "do not re heat".Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Flower - you're probably right about the heating. I keep thinking about it, but every time I decide I'm going to switch it on, I start moving and then I'm warm enough.
Although as my toes are cold inside my sheepskin boots, I think I'll just check the thermometer... 12 downstairs, 13 upstairs (I've been in the study all day). Of course, it would have helped if I'd closed windows, blinds & curtains at dusk like a normal person. They're all still open0
