Is it just me?...I've washed DD's old knickers to put them in the bin. It just doesn't seem right to let someone see her dirty knickers, even if it is just the bin man.

Errr. Um. No. It's not just you :o

denise you're braver than me, I take Megan to the groomers because she can't make the stairs, I'd also hate to even try to do her bath time. I walk in the groomers to collect her and there is clouds of hair everywhere! I pay £25 to get her done then she usually does the other one for £12.50 for me if they go together. They do everything inc nails, ears etc etc. I have done the other one at home several times when he's rolled in fox poop, deer poop, rotted potatoes etc (he's got a nasty habit of rolling in things) and he's such hard work.

I'd take mine too, but we're pretty skint at the moment till a few things are sorted out, plus the only place that does Toby (he being the same height as me on his back legs  ) is a kennels about 7 miles from me, so means getting them in the car and he molts sooooooo much, would take me just as long to clean the car out after (even with plastic sheeting down - it gets in EVERYTHING!!!!), Plus, not got a car at the mo now and def couldn't borrow someones the state they get it in, so to be honest this is easier (barely!) but they are lovely and sparkly now although their nails do need doing again, and they do love it when they're out - like things possessed running around like loons... :rotfl:
Keep looking for the mobile ones, but they only do small to medium dogs... I need a heavy duty jet-blaster one for Tobs, - good thing is he jumps in and out of the bath himself, coz I certainly couldn't lift him! :rotfl:

  • Well my HHC went totally wrong - letter arrived for DD so called Mums and she's not there, tried to get her but obviosly her phone is off (how unusual... ) then my aunt phoned to see if I wanted anything out of her garage, then my uncle wanted to know how to get rid of his van, what was the best way to do it, so I gave up, unloaded the WM and put the tumble drier on to dry my towels (I love the way it makes them fluffy...:o )...
So starting again now I have made a coffee...
    1.10 - 1.40 anyone? I am sitting down for neighbours at 1.45...

I've got a big stack of clean DDs and DSs pants that I keep meaning to throw away but just can't! Whoops
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible
  • Results of HHC:
    Unloaded and reloaded DW
Pegged DD's bedding on the line with matching pegs.
Put my old net curtains in the recycling bin
Sorted out curtain hooks and rings ready to put my new bedroom curtains up.
    Put a washload on.

I'm slowly plodding through my jobs today. We are going away on Friday for a trick or treat weekend. I'll probably have a mad dash just before we go.
    Still to do:
2 x HHI (as the bedding dries.)
    Sort out halloween decorations
    Sort out pumpkin patterns
Wash caravan crockery ready for use.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D
