Soappie - have you thought about doing your grocery shop online? I didn’t used to like the idea but I love it now, so convenient and easy! I also used to find it hard to let people help me, determined to be a superwoman, but often they actually want to help!
I did online shopping for nigh on 10 weeks a few years ago when I broke my elbow and couldn't drive. I hated it - the substitutions were ridiculous (prime example - I ordered a whole leg of lamb to feed six with some left over - what turned up was a tiny half shoulder which wouldn't have fed two!), you didn't get the option to buy any reduced stuff and I never had the patience to trawl through the online aisles looking for the bogofs etc. so I stopped doing it. I know it works very well for some people, but sadly, not for me.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning everyone
thanks for wondering where I was - I wasnt far away but I couldnt post as i was so down it was making me cry when I tried to type it out - its my own fault - I have tried to do too much again!!!
I never should have attempted the bedroom - whatever possessed me to think I could mange it - it has been a nightmare and I am not finished - if you hear me saying I am going to be doing something similar again please yell at me!
None of my friends are near enough to help out and my mate across the road would except he has just had his carpel tunnel operation so he's no use.
I ache all over and am exhausted - although the extra hour has helped - even if it was on the floor (no mattress)!! the logistics of emptying the bedroom have been a nightmare as the flat is small and I have had to move things several times to get space.
today should see the carpet in the bedroom and then I will have to try to make it fit.
I havent kept the posts i wanted to answer so my apologies to everyone!
Welcome to the newbies - this is THE best thread!

Morning all raining here so washing on the maiden.
Enjoy your meet those of you going.
Toots huge hugs hun. You're not the first flylady to start a task and then wonder why you started it (I know you have the extra burden of your health my love). It sounds like you have gone too far to go back now. Hopefully you will get the carpet down but they are heavy have you planned for that? Cutting to fit it not too tricky - if you don't have gripper rods around the room already you can get really strong double sided tape. Remember once the furniture is back you won't be seeing most of it so it doesn't need to be perfect. Good luck with it and try to not do too much in one go.
We are having roast at lunch today as OH is off to France on business tonight but just for a day so best get the meat in the AGA and myself in the shower. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
And don't feel down just look at what you have achieved so far. If you hadn't started yet then you would still have it all to do. Instead you are more than halfway there, just remember it is not a race and will get sorted. Once it's all finished you will have a shiny new bedroom to admire.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
