Up now, and off to work in a bit, still feel odd.

    I'll catch up later.

Justamum awww, sorry I think they're wonderful critters, but never had one in the house. Erm, nice traps, what about this http://www.treehugger.com/files/2007/09/mouse_trap.php admittedly I'd buy one, but don't do what my Mam did and starved one :(

I do think mice are quite sweet but when they are skittering around the house it's a different matter (pooing and weeing constantly!) This morning I was wiping down the work surface because I wanted to make some bread. I moved the radio out of the way and one of the mice was behind it  It ran out of the way across the work surface, and I'm ashamed to say I screamed :o. My two eldest were in hysterics (of laughter). It jumped on to the floor and is now (I think  ) in the understairs cupboard. I have my suspicions that they live in the motor area of the fridge we don't use.

Thanks for the link - I'm printing off the instructions for that mousetrap as I type! Meanwhile before I make my bread I'm going to use my Flash bleach spray!!!

Justamum-have you checked that you haven't got any loose cereal/oats laying around s that may be something that is drawing them into your kitchen. They may well have nibbled a hole in one of the boxes :nono:

Tag – PM me about the disciplinary if you want to and I will see if I can help. Hope everything gets sorted out for you.
Justamum –Poor you, I hate those meeces to pieces. It is the shock of seeing them that makes you scream I think. Ours don’t seem to have come back yet this year. I wonder if those ultra sonic scare thingies are any good? Have you thought about getting a cat?
    Loopy lou – hugs
Denisefowler – your business related list looks how mine should. I really must get my backside into gear if this self employed stuff is to work. I have a couple of regular clients but need to build up more work now that DS2 is settled into school.
Pigpen – two more things for your cleaning spreadsheet. No to specialist UPVC cleaner, Mr. Muscle did the same job and is a lot cheaper. Yes to Stovax Stove Glass Cleaner – expensive but it easily shifts the burnt on brown stuff we get when we fill the stove with recycled softwood rather than logs.
Welcome to angelnikki, chompers, Disdisbiff, and msgnomey

Every time I have tried to post in the last few days the site has crashed and gone so I gave up. I have got quite a lot done but now it is half term it will have to slow down again. I promised to take the boys to soft play this morning but I can take my course notes and make a start on the next assignment. Did I say that I got full marks on the first two assignments? Shocked because it was mood boards and technical drawings – I can’t draw and I have absolutely no taste. Really pleased with myself and looking forward to the rest of the course a lot more now. Not as impressive as GnB and the algebra score though – congratulations!

I will level 3 the LR when we get back. I have to have the whole house clean for Halloween – not only do we have the little ones party but I also have my lovely in laws staying overnight. I tidied a lot outside yesterday so at least that is out of the way.
Crashed again, I am going to give up after this last attempt.

Justamum- Sorry about the mice. BV&Q do a friendly mouse trap for about £5. My mum used one last year. She laid it down and never saw the mouse again. Didn't even go near the mouse trap just seems to do a runner. A very friendly mouse trap :D

Thanks. I'll pop in there at the weekend.
