ive got other commitments (babysitting 4 sister) plus im on a rota so im working different shifts each week, so i cant choose a course on a set day. im gonna improve my computing skills office based from january then in september there will be more courses to choose from but i will also be looking for work with training included. my youngest is 10 in march
Perhaps if you let your employer know about your predicament, they would be understanding when goving you hours? A lot of employees are understanding - especially for educational reasons. For example, if your course was a couple of hours a day for 2 days a week, you would let them know of this and they may work your hours around this. it really depends whereabouts you work/what type of business it is?

Have you looked at learn direct courses? They have a lot of courses you can do from home (at least in part). Or Open University?

As your youngest will be 10 in March you would be unable to claim IS from October 2009.

will do some research on home studying and im hoping to have another job to fit in by october 09

When would you have to go back to work if your youngest was 6 in August?
