Money STILL hasn't arrived in my Kaupthing Edge Account

The money was taken from my account but has not arrived in the third parties account. I spoke with Ing and they said they could do nothing about it and that I should speak with Kaupthing. This I did and they told me that the BACS would not go through because it had not been done through the linked account. They said that they would not be able to put a trace on the money and that I should speak to my own bank and they should be able to do that for me. To date I have no news. Do you think this money will be lost?

Despite Kaupthing saying that the money would return to my current account it has actually found its way into the Kaupthing account. At least it is now accounted for and not in cyberspace!
