Money STILL hasn't arrived in my Kaupthing Edge Account

Hi all,
I (somewhat foolishly) transferred £200 out of my firstdirect account INTO my Kaupthing savings account last over a week ago, hoping I could add a bit more money to my fixed rate bond to ensure I got a good interest rate on it. Around 9 days later, the money still hasn't shown up. I've sent a couple of emails to KE but have heard nothing back. Should I be concerned that my money hasn't reached it's destination or should I just hold my horses?

Well I know ING owns the savings now, but dont be fooled in to thinking any staff there can punch in your detials and access you old account, as they cant, so wait for offical ING statements.0

Hi all
It is really heartening to learn firstly that somebody is collating and coordinating data re folk who continue to wait and hope K/Edge pyts will eventually settle in linked accounts. So thanks to all who are posting messages and keeping us all up to date. Hope it continues until every last penny has been repatriated. Suddenly, my wife and I, who had sought to tfr a 6 fig sum on the 7th Oct by way of CHAPS, now realise we are not alone, and are not the only folk being fobbed off firstly by K/|Edge and latterly by ING ...............but we remain hopefull that we will be reunited with our savings before too long. Rest assured we will keep you all posted.

I see their latest update is titled 'Kaupthing Edge outstanding payment issue resolved', which then goes on the say that all payments 'will' be in the destination accounts on Friday. That's hardly what I call 'resolved' whilst it's still to happen, and also given all their previous promises with dates haven't been honoured so far I'll believe it WHEN it has happened. Their promises are quite frankly hollow otherwise.
(still waiting for my BACS transfer sent on the 10 Oct to arrive IN my KEdge account!)0 -
I agree, but wasn't that meant to be LAST friday? Still no sign of the money and no communication from either ING nor KE. Starting to worry a bit but I know they've got a lot on their plates so I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed!0

appeared in nationwide account his morning (CHAPS n 8th) but no refund of chaps money nevermind at least its in be grateful for small mercies0

That message that all fund will be accounts by Friday has been pulled from the website now (Kaupthing Edge). Honestly KE/ING you really don't know how much I hate you.!0

On 9th October I had organised for a BACS transfer from my current account to a third party Kaupthing E account. (I was away on holiday at the time and had set this payment up prior to going away, I was not aware of any problems with Icelandic banks until my return).
The money was taken from my account but has not arrived in the third parties account. I spoke with Ing and they said they could do nothing about it and that I should speak with Kaupthing. This I did and they told me that the BACS would not go through because it had not been done through the linked account. They said that they would not be able to put a trace on the money and that I should speak to my own bank and they should be able to do that for me. To date I have no news. Do you think this money will be lost?What goes around - comes around

My funds sent from Barclays on the 10th (Oct!) have finally just arrived IN my Kaupthing account.
(Wait for the dust to settle, get the lost interest, then close the bloody lot down)
