"A Lapland-style theme park criticised by visitors as "hell" and a "scam" has closed down, it is understood.
Lapland New Forest opened on Friday on the Hampshire-Dorset border but was criticised by hundreds of visitors.
It is not clear who is behind the closure as trading standards had said it did not have the power to shut it. Dorset Police said officers at the scene were told the site had been closed permanently and that contractors were packing up and leaving. "
From the BBC local new website and reported on the TV!!
We have tickets to go on Sunday and I am now really happy we don't have to go!!!0 -

You are correct tigger2000 and I am blunt, direct and forceful, which is why I normally deal with scammers elsewhere, but this case drew me in.
I am happy to be criticised by anyone who is sharing the same purpose that I am, but my methods are to achieve a result, Sadly it may not enable people to get their money back, though it hasn't worsened their situation. It has clarified things and ensured that less people get scammed the same way.
I'm retired and I dont do what I do for praise or thanks. It just makes me feel good.
I am a little peeved that Phil should suggest that I would operate dishonestly, but that's a reflection on him - not me.
On a lighter note - who one earth is Dave Bishop ? who was telling us that one or both of the Victor Mears was in tears over this shambles which was caused by ill health, bad weather, a plague of locusts, famine or pestilence.

I know that you mean well and everything, but I can't help thinking that you've got a little over-excited.
It's kind of you to offer to help the people who did actually experience the disappoinment of this gruesome park, but they seem to be making an excellent job of helping themselves without too much interference.
I also can't help mentioning that the ideaof "Cynical-Lady" being a separate entity from yourself provokes a degree of, if not cynicism, certainly scepticism in me i'm afraid.

OMG, I've finally got my breath back.....I've been sitting here with my chin on the floor for a couple of minutes!
I am not he ...he is not me.How strange of you to think so.
I'm sorry GomerPyle, I didn't realise my open comment to you would attract this sort of idiotic comment.
Why on earth would anyone think that?I don't want to buck the system....I just want it to WORK!!!0 -
Don't worry cynical-lady, I take it as a compliment.
If you saw a picture of me you'd be outraged. :rotfl:

this one doesnt sound too promising either?
Lapland attraction needs licence
A planned Lapland-style attraction which wants to open on Saturday does not yet have an entertainment licence, a Staffordshire council has said.
