Lapland New Forest Scam. How to get money back...

GomerPyle - don't stop, bit strange that now they are closed and the midlands one is opening.

I'm addicted to this thread to see if there's a link.

Isn't great when poeple can join together and give these scum a good fight.

I think GomerPyle has done a great job here. He/she realised that trading standards wouldn't take any direct action quickly enough so has gone another route to try to get this awful place shut down faster thus saving the money of people who hadn't yet attended.

I think he/she deserves a round of applause. :T

i agree - well done gomerpyle its people like you that take the lead so others may benefit (like the petrol thing years ago was started by a humble farmer)

Whether or not the west midlands lapland is related to the new forest one
there does seem to be more than a few indications that it is also scam....

- certain similarities in website layout wording + pictures
- the fact they are ripping off disney tm apparently without permission (reported in press)
- local council only found out about it a few days ago and no specific planning permission/licences were applied for
- lapland west midlands is not a registered company
- the apparently 'ltd' concrete company that shares a telephone number + address with the LWM is not listed on companies house.
- also taking part a field normally used for car boot sales (so no trees even this time?)
- disclaimers about pictures on the website.

In case anyone has already booked LWM and it turns out to be a similar farce, I've saved the website for posterity!!

Get those claims rolling in. In which case the bank will nail this company's money to the floor so they can't remove it. I'm a bad man (in a good sort of way),

I mentioned that I worked mainly elsewhere but saw no reason to promote my main home (not that I am the owner or a moderator there). I used the same name so that anyone interested could find out.

Not sure if I'm right here but before children i I worked and we used worldpay for the online payment thing and they kept the money for a month before putting it into our account so is this how it works with say paypal or with the banks. If so then it might mean they haven't got their grubby hand on it yet or at least some of it.
