You are right about the looks !! its bit of drastic change from the 2800 but its a nice bit of kit, I have one in the office for IPSec tunnels back to a datacentre and use them at customer sites.
I have always been a fan of the CISCO Security appliance and Router hardware, however when I started my new role as IT Manager at the company I work for now I was on a tight budget so I opted for the Netgear FVX538 Blue-box range, hard to fault for the price and performance is quite good too, still wish I had my CISCO budget though, the VPN client is much easier to setup than the Netgear client, it is a bit of a pig but once you play with it for a while it is easy enough to setup.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

We have a couple of hundred Drayteks in sites and I really like them especially how easy the tunnels are to configure.

Well thats the limited scope of the useful input I can add to the Techie Forum so until someone else asks the same question in future its back to being a lurker!!! :silenced:
