    I've never heard of any software that does that. If you mean the sniping software that automatically bids then the buyer has to input the auction details before the snipe can bid, so would have a chance to read the small print.

    A picture, that's pretty bad, but I have heard of people selling Apple's - and guess what you get?!

    I'm guessing that due to the auction details clearly stating it is for a photo and not the product the seller has done nothing wrong in the eyes of eBay and I would think even the police/small claims court couldn't do anything in this case as te seller provided the item exactly as described. Assuming they get their pic.

    Amazing how some people will spend fairly large sums of money without being sure of what they are buying or even bothering to read what they are buying.

    Yes it's a little sneaky but looks totally legit in terms of breach of conditions/law.
