2 sims in 1 phone - clone sims onto one?
Hi guys,
I brought a O2 XDA phone a while back as it was my dream phone having everything I needed on it e.g. GPS, Wi-Fi, phone, camera, PDA etc.
Then I got a new job and so got a blackberry so I now don't want to have to carry two big phones around.
I want to be able to use my own personal sim AND my work sim in my blackberry.
I know there used to be those dual sim card holder things but can't find them and I doubt they are any good.
Then I saw something on ebay about a single sim card that you could clone up to 6 sims on and then switch between them without needing to re-boot.
Has anyone tried them out and do they work?
Cheers

I haven't tried any, and from what I read mostly a couple of years ago, it was pretty unlikely they'd work with modern SIMs; it was even said there was a chance of damaging them during the read attempt. Maybe things have improved, but I'm a bit sceptical.
A bit away from your topic: it is possible for SIM manufacturers to put several IDs on one SIM, which some providers may be looking at as a way to reduce roaming costs, e.g. add a US ID, and there are some about with dual IDs at the moment. So if you hear about multi IDs, they are probably made like that0 -
The only way I know that 100% works is the "Line 2" that Orange (used to?) offers, basically it has both lines switched on the same SIM and working at the same time. If they still do this you might be bale to port your numbers?
