my pc is driving me mad!!!

    no , it dosnt make deleting emails slow ... its that i have to click the mouse every few seconds 4 or 5 times to delete a meesage . thats what takes the time .

    The problem is ONLY with your mouse? Buy a new one. Asda have a goodn for about 3 quid!

    it might not be this but very often is, sends people looking for spyware and viruses when the answer is much simpler
    i got as far as "tools" , then it gave me 3 options , error checking , defragmentation and back up. there was no option for disc cleanup . which one of those 3 options do i choose

    even the keys on the keyboard are inoperative at times ie when clicking on a box to type in an adress etc and nothing happens . i have to keep tapping the key as i would keep clicking the mouse

    you tried the disk cleanup I suggested yet, the more I read of your problem the more I think its the answer

    there was NOT an option for disc clean up , only ERROR CHECKING - DISCFRAGMENTATION or BACK UP. Ichose error checking and it scanned for ages after it rebooted. still appears the same . so is that what disc clean what i did earlier

    ifound out how to do a disc clean. its just finnished and ill let you know if any improvement
