oh thanks sense i will take a look :D i completely agree about trying to retain a sense of humour! i don't like to harass people who are under pressure and trying to do a difficult job but i have reached the end of my tether with it

They refer to themselves as case workers so i suppose i just follow suit. My case took 6 weeks to get to a complex case worker in the beginning which i suppose i just accepted because there was nothing i could do about the delay at the time! but this is over 4mths to get it transferred...its too much..

These CSA staff are debt enforcement/complex case workers and according to the girl i spoke to today they are paid at a supervisor grade, i can only assume its extra training and or experience? generally they seem to know what they are doing although how helpful they are varies....i think i am probably lucky in some respects as the ordinary CSA staff seem to be a bit variable judging by some of the thread on this board! I haven't done anything about a formal complaint.....yet! i am hoping that this will be enough of a kick up the proverbial to get things moving....

Evie -Sorry to go off topic here.

K- The quote is indeed used in the PSBoys song. Can't say they are one of my fav groups though, but the lyrics tickle me. You mean this last line?

    "I confess to almighty god,
    and to you my brothers,
    that I have sinned exceedingly
in thought, word, act and omission,
through my fault, through my fault,
    through my most grievous fault"

I do love Latin. But I'm extremely into the Roman Empire. And I, Claudius is simply wonderful...especially Brian Blessed..ironic last name!!! and Sian Phillips..."...don't eat the figs...

Another of my fav Latin quotes is this used in the play and film " Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf", but I'm not into organised religion at all:

Libera Me is a part of the Requiem Mass of the Roman Catholic Church, as such it is in Latin.
    These are the lyrics.
    Libera Me
Libera me, Domine, de morte aeterna
    in die illa tremenda
quando coeli movendi sunt et terra,
dum veneris judicare saeculum per ignem. Tremens factus sum ego et timeo,
dum discussion venerit atque venture ira:
quando coeli movendi sunt et terra.

English Translation: Deliver me, O Lord, from eternal death
    on that awful day
when the heavens and earth shall be shaken
and you shall come to judge the world by fire. I am seized with fear and trembling
until the trial is at hand and the wrath to come:
when the heavens and earth shall be shaken.

    :A:A:A

That perfume Kolnisch Juchten has got to me real bad. It is gorgeous.

I now remember it very clearly the actual latin quote was indeed as you had stated!!!!!! i remember trying to catch the words and got the verbo operer et omisione mea culpa, mea culpa mea maxima culpe but couldn't get the rest. This was the very first time I have ever seen it written down.

The very last line in latin which was indeed muffled is the quote that you made - listen very carefully and you will hear more clearly 'mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa'.

Watched it last night actually, followed by 'What have I done to deserve this' and 'You were always on my mind' and then because that last song reminded me of Christmas 1987 where me and my friend used to sing on the bus, I had to look up and watch The Housemartins and 'Build' which we also used to sing on the bus!!!!! THEN even more sad, because I was in nostalgia mood, I had to watch Five Star - I used to love them when I was 16! Found a song I thought I would never hear again, and it wasn't as good as I remembered. My taste in music has improved I feel, although I always loved the Pet Shop Boys' early stuff.
  • I'm having the same problem as the Op. I was told by debt enforcement that my case was being transferred to legal enforcement back in July. Foolishly i accepted that this was the case.

Rang three weeks ago as I had not heard from legal enforcement and was given the run around. We'll call you back in 48 hours............

I rang every 2 days for two weeks and I have just been told that the case was not transferred in July, still with debt enforcement, this is possbily due to the computer upgrade??? Off course it is being transferred now - or so they tell me, I'm to call them in 6 weeks if I have not heard anything.

I'm owed nearly £40k, four children, I work full time, we REALLY need the money. Ex has paid nothing, self employed earns over £100k. They will not be able to get charging order as he has no assets/house, lives in a room in rented accomodation and moves often. The only way he will pay is if they take commital proceedings, I expect by which time the children will all be grown up. Makes me sooo mad:mad:

Absolutely no help with CSA this evening - but Kelloggs has made me go all slushy!!

You've just made me you tube The Housemartins - Build- Reminds me of my boyfriend when I was 15!! Such happy carefree times.

Was the five star song 'rain or shine' - i looked it up a few weeks ago in a nostalgic moment - it wasn't what i remembered!!

Please see the sticky link at the top of the forum. Get your MP involved.

Appreciate your predictament. The CSA can go direct to the IR and get a copy of his latest accounts.

One thing that might help you is to get an CSA inspector round to his premises under Section 15 and see how much money is owed to the business. They might be able to claw it back that way.

Have they tried a debt order on his bank accounts?

Youtube is really addictive and you end up doing that six degrees of separation thing. I was checking out New Order - True Faith...great song, another naff video...and ended up with Amercian Psycho. Have to read the book again, although it's one of the most horrible books I've ever read.

We rang CSA again yesterday, and now apparently they haven't got record that they've received the 'evidence' of shared care which we sent on the 23rd August! That's amazing really because DH spent 40 minutes on the phone to them shortly after they'd received it. The caseworker had looked at it and decided that we did have shared care! They're ringing us back today...................

I swear they haven't got a clue sometimes!

It wasn't, but it was one that I used to love and I did watch it that night lol!! However, it was a quest to find a non-single song. It was called Say Goodbye which was on one of their albums - I used to play it loads when I split with my boyfriend and it still reminds me of him now! Haven't heard it for about 20 years!!
