I have been trying to get my case moved from Debt Enforcement to legal enforcement since the middle of June, i am having no luck at all and its drivin me mental:mad:
the case has been sitting in various task queues until when the CSA had their reshuffle on the 18th Sept when a new women got the job. unfortunately she is useless. i have been trying to get her to fill in the audit form to send the case on since the 18th Sept. every time i call she scrabbles around in bits of paper and then agrees the same course of action ie its to go to legal but she hasn't filled in the forms!!!!
what the hell do i do now?

She needs a kick up the ar*se...a big one...whether she is a new member of staff or not...get your MP and, more importantly, your MP's assistant on to it. See sticky link about Parliamentary hotline. She has probably been thrown in the deep end with no proper training.0

Speak to her manager and make a complaint and demand to know why it hasn't been done yet.0

mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa
Reminds me of It's A Sin by the Pet Shop Boys!!!!
In fact the whole quote does - do you remember it is the very last line!!!!!! Just thought I would share that with you.0 -
Maybe it wasn't now - oh I can't remember but it does remind me as it was a latin quote being said, but I don't speak Latin. No I haven't had a drink"!!!!0

Evie -Sorry to go off topic here.
K- The quote is indeed used in the PSBoys song. Can't say they are one of my fav groups though, but the lyrics tickle me. You mean this last line?
"I confess to almighty god,
and to you my brothers,
that I have sinned exceedingly
in thought, word, act and omission,
through my fault, through my fault,
through my most grievous fault"
I do love Latin. But I'm extremely into the Roman Empire. And I, Claudius is simply wonderful...especially Brian Blessed..ironic last name!!! and Sian Phillips..."...don't eat the figs...
Another of my fav Latin quotes is this used in the play and film " Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf", but I'm not into organised religion at all:
Libera Me is a part of the Requiem Mass of the Roman Catholic Church, as such it is in Latin.
These are the lyrics.
Libera MeLibera me, Domine, de morte aeternaEnglish Translation: Deliver me, O Lord, from eternal death
in die illa tremenda
quando coeli movendi sunt et terra,
dum veneris judicare saeculum per ignem. Tremens factus sum ego et timeo,
dum discussion venerit atque venture ira:
quando coeli movendi sunt et terra.
on that awful day
when the heavens and earth shall be shaken
and you shall come to judge the world by fire. I am seized with fear and trembling
until the trial is at hand and the wrath to come:
when the heavens and earth shall be shaken.

That perfume Kolnisch Juchten has got to me real bad. It is gorgeous.

are you sure Kelloggs?sorry thanks for the replys and the Latin reminders! i did Latin at school (weird for an east end comprehensive) and also love my history
I just wanted to make sure i wasn't expecting too much, i have been told 3 times in 4 months the case was on its way to legal but nothing has happened and all the time my ex gets weeks and weeks to hide stuff and get dividends in cash etc.....he must think he is getting off with it as he gets nothing from the CSA for months on end....meanwhile his arrears go up by £200 a week and i am having to get a 2nd job....Every Penny's a prisoner :T0 -
well i just called the CSA (again) and recounted my tale of woe to yet another case worker......she is filling out a call back proforma! ooohh the excitement...
this is the only thing she can do apparently, she has put on it all the times i have phoned to get it transferred and that i have emailed my MP....this will get a supervisor involved apparently....
I used to work in local govt and i know all about rules and regs and a very defined way of doing things, i often speak to folk in Falkirk and on the whole the CSA staff are good, I have just been stuck with a right lemon this time!!Every Penny's a prisoner :T0 -
We too are having a nightmare trying to get the CSA to do anything. They finally agreed on 12th Sep that DH's DS stays with us 1 night a week and are backdating it to April. Since then we have heard nothing. We've phoned them up every week and the only answer we get is that there is a backlog, but we will get the new schedule. We don't ever seem to get to the front of the queue of things to be done!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0

they seem to have to seek the PWC's opinion/permission to do the shared care thing. My deadbeat ex did have a nights shared care on for my DS but it was sorted quickly. They just phoned me up to see what i thought about it and obviously as it was a fact at that time i agreed to it.
Weirdly though he has only had them once a month since June so when i was on to the CSA a couple of weeks ago i asked for it to be taken off, particularly as the last time they saw him he specifically refused to feed them i dropped them after lunch and he was insistant that they get dropped back to me before dinner. He had the youngest in tears because he was shouting at them that it was too expensive for him to see his kids....
Well i wanted to show him it was more expensive for him not too!! btw this is the guy that pays himself in excess of 60k a year and is running about in a private reg mercedes sports car and has only paid one months maintenance since January.......boo hoo for him:mad:Every Penny's a prisoner :T0 -
Evie
You refer to CSA staff as case workers. Are you in contact with a Complaints Resolution Officer?
Sorry about the latin references, but here is a brilliant link of Sian Phillips ( fantastic lady and actress ) in one of my favourite scenes from I' Claudius.
Oh to have that power!!!
Hope it makes you smile because you need your sense of humour when dealing with the csa. If you can get hold of the series on DVD, I highly recommend watching it. John Hurt is fantastic too.
