    I've been Money Tipped!
I use to dye my own eyelashes, but I wore mascara anyway...seemed a bit pointless.

fc123, thank you thank you thank you, for the eyelash recommendation. Have been toying with it for a present for me from someone who won't just give me cash, I think I'll go for it for Christmas!

The new Boots dream lash mascara, is really very good. I bought some but now notice that you can get a freebie on the Eve magazine this month? Never buy mags, but may do so to get an £11.50 mascara for £3.50 or whatever the mag costs.(oh the freebie is only in black - which is fine for me)

It takes an hour and is a bit uncomfy (but no discomfort, no lovely lashes) but you can choose what colour and length. I went for long, batting ones in black (well, may as well go for it).
The only downside is one can't rub ones eyes, which I didn't realise I did until I couldn't do it.
You also can't wear eyeshadow around the eye as well but you don't need to.

When they start to fall out, it doesn't really notice but you can go back for top ups. I think this is the stage whereby it could become an expensive habit;) ....Then one day, you look in the mirror and they are gone :(

I have to say, I was worried by that too...but noticed no difference...but I reckon if you did it all the time, you could lose your real ones as well.

For moi...it's totally on track....distraction from all the really nasty stuff going on.

I'm about to get crunched by my shop landlord (the big glass, tower one) and the next few wks are going to test my resilience to the limit.

LL has decided they won't suspend rent review (so will be impossible to re-assign even if there were any takers) and won't give any reduction either.
In fact, 'he' has made it quite clear that 'he' will bust us if we don't keep paying and playing the game.

Everything we have made from e-tail is piled into the next gigantic order due to be ready this Friday. OH drives up their today to help pack...it's far from ready.
If it misses the deadline, it gets cancelled. If it gets cancelled, I can't pay factory, too much stock just for us and I can't pay shop rent.
Shop can't pay it's own costs now as T/O took a further dive 4 wks ago.

I am on a train at 6am tomo am and will spend 48 hrs (minus sleeping/eating time) sat at an overlocker trying to help get it finished...all 2000 units.

The fear in me is beyond words right now.

But we felt we had no choice but to do this order.......so just got to try and deliver.

So chatting about eyelashes is keeping me sane right now.;)
