fc123 - if we in the UK have got any chance of getting through the next few 'challenging' years in any kind of shape it'll be because of people like you. Well done!

Me too...I just need a couple wks notice (naw..I'm not being 'yuppy oh so busy' but just need to schedule stuff in :D )

I will need vast quantities of gold pen as I seem to be going for the pre op Micheal Caine look at the mo topped off with a Gordon Ramsey forehead.

Don't want to scare you all.

More good news for UK manufacturing......just heard today...new range shown on Fri; they loved it. More to make, more to stress about....but, hey, it's that or shelf filling in Tesco. No choice really.

Someone PM me the date in case I miss the post in the thread???

    Cheers

That's the place. It came up in an earlier thread.

It's quite easy to get to.

Or we could do the Market Porter in Borough again. It's right by London Bridge station and it's a pretty decent pub.

London Bridge sounds good too...easy journey. Do we wear fake moustaches or have carnations for ID?

If French Connection UK disappears from our High Streets, and our T-shirts, I shall consider this one of the benefits of recession :).

Sorry to interupt the social event discussion :o

Telegraph - Terrible time for Westfield shopping centre to open

"Twenty years in gestation and costing £1.7bn, the sprawling centre will cover nine postcodes and 43 acres of west London’s Shepherds Bush.."

Observer - Will we worship at the new temples of consumerism?

I didn't visit, never mind worship at, the last lot!

Market Porter it is then unless anyone objects.

I'll be wearing a pinstripe and carrying an FT, a P45 and an Australian visa.
