    Hi Everyone

I am back from my parents now (went for a week, they live in Poole, Dorset).

Only two weeks now until we go to Lithuania for my brothers wedding, we are only going for 5 days and to be honest I will be glad when it is over and I can get back to serious debt busting as all our expensive things will be over. I'm hoping to try and pay a lot off between the end of August and end of December. I can't wait until 1st December to open my sealed pot, I'm chucking all loose change in it at the moment, I want to be able to buy xmas presents and have some to pay off my debt. I have my eldest two daughters Xmas presents already (bought them Xmas just gone), I got two Leapster 2's for £25 (basically two for the price of one) and I got a couple of games for it too. It will be a cheaper Xmas this year, I'm not going to buy too much.

Anyway, our house guest is here for another week, OH said his brother rang a couple of days ago and said were we alright to have him for another week as he wanted to stay a week longer in Italy (they have gone to a family wedding), he said originally that his family were staying longer and he was only going for a week. Anyway, the dog is lovely, very big and strong, much bigger than Rocky was, he gets very excitable when the girls run away from him so we have to be careful, he's eating lots of 'goodies' and I've bought a bit bigger joint of meat for dinner tonight so he can have a bit. It is nice to have a dog in the house again but I definitely don't want one permanently, I hope his brother doesn't say about us keeping him as I know OH would rather have the dog than them get rid of it.

Capital One wrote to me saying that my interest rate is going up to 28.9% so I'm transferring the balance onto another card and will close that one down. I have a 3.9% deal on A&L until January so will do that instead.

Anyway, this is turning into a novel so better end there.

Sorry you are feeling ill CAFC, hope you are better soon.

    thanks hun.

good idea, re transferring the balance, no reason to pay them all that interest if you dont have to.....

Thanks CMD we had a lovely time, although the first two nights DD1 woke up crying with leg ache the first night and her foot hurt the next, the next 3 nights the baby kept waking up crying as she was snotty and coughing when it went down her throat so didn't get much sleep at night except for the last 2 nights. Weather wasn't brilliant but we did get one nice day when we went to Weymouth, I love it there and would love to live there.

Got lots finishing on Ebay tonight and have a few bids on things so am quite pleased, I did 10 day auctions before I went away to finish tonight so will relist everything that doesn't sell.

hi all. hope you are all well.

well it's after midnight so technically it's payday yay :ji had my payslip this morning (or is it now yesterday morning?? it's so confusing) so i know how much i'm getting paid. about to log onto internet banking to see if it's gone in yet. sometimes the system is down til 1am (while they update the accounts i guess) so hopefully it will have gone in.

then i have to work out how much spare money i have to use for debt busting.

fingers crossed for good figures x

Hi Starnac and everyone else when you trickle in :hello:.
I love pay days, mine's still two weeks away.

y friend is coming to stay over night as she's got an interview tomorrow morning. I'd like to move in with her if she gets a job here. But have realised that I'd need to find at least £100-£200 more a month to be able to do that as I've got really cheap rent sharing a house. :( So it's not really viable at all as my budget is very, very tight. But I still want to do it! Any ideas?

Also, can someone crack the whip! I still didn't do my ebay listings last night. I ended up checking on mus1cmagpie how much my cd's would be worth. Could sell about 26, but they still came on under £20. Most of them are not worth the hassle to try and sell on amazon though so might still do it.
