Good luck CAFC - I'm sure you will be fine, don't think they will have you going on the main roads just yet - LOL.

Phoned up about the temporary job today at OH's work and someone is going to call me back (the person who needs the typing done). It is typing up exam papers (I think Law ones thankfully as the Accountancy ones used to be a nightmare). I'm sure once I start I'll remember how to do them (that is if the person wants me as I can only do hours to fit in with OH and he is on earlies next week so I wouldn't be able to go there until 1.30. We shall see, am a bit scared but I really need the money and it is only temporary which is great as I can do it when they are desperate without committing myself to a permanent job.

    Hiya all!

Good luck with the driving lessons CAFC, hope it all goes fine.
TMD - would be great if you could get the job!

I was supposed to do my ebay listings last night, but I couldn't upload the photos.:mad::mad: Now I have to leave it till next month as going to Scotland soon so won't be here to post the damn things. So annoying.

Did research how much I would get for some of my cd's I wouldn't mind departing with. Came up £10.33 for 14 on musicmagp1e. Some cd's were going for more on amazOn, but there were quite a few there and would be more hassle, need to check ebay at some point as well.

Just had a call from the guy at OH's work, they have an agency that they have to go through if they employ anyone temporary and I would have to register, he's going to see what other applicants they have and how much work there is etc and get back to me. I can only do next week really as the week after it is DD2's birthday on the Monday and on the Wednesday we are going to my parents for a week.

I want to do it but don't want to as well, at least it is stuff I've done before but is scary after being out of work for 5 years but the money would be great and very needed right now.

Got to walk to school in half an hour to pick up the girls as OH has taken my car to work, bit of a pain but the exercise will do me good.

Tirlitten - Ebay is so slow at the moment I wouldn't worry about not listing stuff maybe do it when you come back from holiday.

No news yet, not sure whether they will get back to me they will probably need people who can do full time or more hours than myself, this week OH doesn't finish work until 1.30pm and that is quite late in the day really.

I'm wondering whether they will get me to register with the Agency they use and then maybe see if they have any work after my holiday. I did ask about typing from home like modules or coursework but not sure if that is an option, it would be preferable really to me as I could do it in the evenings.

    How was the driving lesson?

well done cafc girl on the driving lessons.... think I said that on your diary too!

TMD hope you manage to find some work that is suitable... Could you be a virtual personal assistant and do work from home over the internet? May be worth looking into

My MIL is going to lend us the money for the car which will add to our debt but it can't be helped. I am also going to have to start living off our savings - not sure where that leaves me with this challenge.... Do I show a decreasing paid off figure??? as my savings go down?

Have been very uptight re car... we are going to look at a newer one tomorrow so hopefully will get that....
