In my slightly hollow victory I am now sub £next-k on all my debts, over the half way point for my overall debt AND the £15k challenge.
I only wish I had been more disciplined and done it from my June pay not my July pay
Tirl - have a cracking time
Look down there in my siggy, I have new challenges. :T£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Evening Ladies how are we all. Not much happening for me either at the moment but payday tomorrow so the figures will be updated in the next few days.
July payday will be exciting as it will be one with my new wages and possibly overtime as well :T and you never know by the end of July I may have the money from the house sale and be debt free  .
In my head I am thinking it will be August but we will see.
Hope I can stay on the challenge though as I will just change from debting to saving lolProud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Hurray for more money and overtime :j
I'm a saver not a debt buster, have to say even though it sounds odd I find it harder at times. Clearing x amount to defeat the evil Barclaycard seemed to focus me better than saving y to go in my new house pot :rolleyes:Looking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier

I must admit I am worried that I will be a bad saver too. I will need some kind of challenge for sure to concentrate my mind as I don't want to fritter my cash away.
I suppose the simple thing will be set a target of £x by a certain date and set up a standing order each month. Then the challenge will be surviving on whats left rather than saving if that makes sense :TProud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Howdy all, thanks for all the good wishes for the new challenges.
I am unexpectedly home this evening, I was meant to be out but it got deferred to tomorrow so here I am in a very, very warm flat. It probably saved me some money in the long run. Ooooh and I just realised that I had a NSD today :T completely by accident :T :T
I think that debt busting has to be easier than saving, i know that once that carrot isn't dangling i will have to really work to stick at it, especially since there are all those exciting handbags out there £34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
