Hey SH,
Congratulations on the bonus and good luck with all the applications. Sounds like a funny calendar. I like the Far Side ones e.g. the Academy for Gifted Children with a kid trying to pull open a door that says 'push'. :rotfl:
CMD - well done on your progress. I need to reign myself in as well. Not doing too bad on the money front but I've put back on all the weight I lost last month  and am feeling rubbish. Gonna do a little spring cleaning now to get moving.
CAFC - have you got your redundancy money yet? I can't belive it's taking them so long - a bit suspicious, don't you think. I once left a job and they didn't pay me for all the hours I'd done so I went down there and refused to leave the front office until I was paid. I said they could call the police if they liked. It was the kind of office where customers came in, so I said I would also tell the customers what was going on. After about 30mins I was paid in full, in cash, by the boss. :rotfl:I was terrified at the time, but even more terrified of having no money. These things are sent to try us. (I'm not suggesting you do that by the way!)0 -
Didn't get last week's blood, sweat and tears job either... need some new interviews to come through....
Came second, was overqualified - she felt I could do her job... doesn't pay my bills tho does it!

But you've got more job applications in the pipeline, haven't you? Overqualified? How annoying. A friend of mine kept getting turned down for jobs as he was just too good - every interviewer was intimidated by him. He's very clever, funny, eloquent, great looking, highly qualified, great people-person etc. He ended up joining a start-up company where everyone was new and so nobody felt threatened by newbies.
Fingers crossed for you SH!0 -

Sorry to hear that SavingH,
Sometimes I think they shouldn't bother with the feedback as it is more depressing. I have had a few interviews in the past when I cane 2nd and the feedback never made me feel any better.

Well done! That is a load paid off! Is that you nearly debt free then or do you have a bit to go?
I have been slack so need to pull my socks up and get rid of some more. Had a high phone and heating bill in Feb though. Thankfully, not having to pay council tax helped a bit!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
