I only got to contact the fella yesterday and he said he would refund so I am expecting it tomorrow or the next day. Have decided to go walking most nights and maybe try again in a few months when they come down in price again.Because of the messing around they all went back up to full price again!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

The going out walking each evening is a great idea, and that way you can't look at the sofa/bed and think how great it looks and get off the treadmill. If you walk in the opposite direction to your home until you get bored then you have no choice (leave the bus fare at home) but to walk back (well that is how it works for me). Or is it just me that has great intentions on the various bits of exercise tat that I have but find that the sofa comes calling??£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

That sounds like a great idea about not bringing any money. The evenings are getting milder anyway so it should be quite refreshing. I also ordered a fitness DVD so should lose weight with a combination. Need to get more motivated!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I need to eat less
mainly learning that if you open a box of after eights or a terry's choc orange (mint variety) you don't have to eat the whole thing in one sitting without pausing fro breath. Both of those were in the last week - I seem to have developed a minty choc obsession.
Well done to you on the exercise motivation, hopefully your good example will rub off on me.
I prefer walking when it is colder, less sweat and it feels so warm and cosy when you get home.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Hiya all! And belated Happy Birthday TMD!!! I had a weekend away and it was so good to de-stress and it worked. Unfortunately on Monday it's my bf's gran's funeral, and yesterday I found out his ex is coming. I know it's not about me and I don't need to worry, they haven't been together for 3 year and she's got another bloke, but I could really do without meeting her...:( so not looking forward to it. On a happier note, another £17.48 towards student loan.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Lent starts today-what about putting all your "I must do things" as a challenge rather than the giving up people normally do, though I have given up sweets and chocolates.
More of a "I must" approach rather than "I must'nt"
Then you can do much whip cracking- sorry positive support and encouragement-of each other. Are those shopping bags you're carrying really bags of debt???0 -
