I am thinking of setting myself a challenge for £x from payday to payday so basically a month. Payday is this friday. I would like to aim for £500 but not entirely sure I could do this although I have a lot of crap to sell lol

i'd be happy with £50 for my 13 items, and then maybe another £150 for the 14th.... as its pretty substantial......

  • So, looking at about £200 all in.

Hmmm, what shall I do to challenge me. This month is difficult as I have a birthday, wedding and two big celebration events. I was thinking of cutting £100 off of my normal monthly budget but am not sure that will work because of the expensive events I have planned.

I would love to do the make money thing (I have a three handbags that should fetch £100 between them) but I really had may confidence in Ebay/PayPal (not the buyers or sellers, just the sites) shaken a year or so back so I am really reluctant to use them again (and Ebid is still PayPal isn't it??? - and preloved is). I wish there was an Amazon/Play style listing equivalent for random stuff where they handled the money exchange in house. For some reason I feel better about it that way.

  • Hmmm, I think I need to stop being so ridiculous and get on and get back on the Ebay horse. I have so much tat that I could do with getting shot of. It is time those pesky charideeee shops stopped doing so well out of me!

Right, I need to investigate how much it costs to post bags (not terribly small ones at that) round the country. (and change my email address and get a new PayPal account - oh things, things to do)

Morning one and all how the devil are we.

£500 sounds a lot but I actually have some stock from when I used to run a proper Ebay shop so if I actually got my derriere in gear I could do it.

So that is my target £500 from payday to payday, so from the 27th.

Well done all those on setting money making targets. I'm afraid this month I'm focusing on the big ticket item - getting my next job only 5 weeks and 2 days left if I'm to get my next job before I leave here  I spent 3 hours yesterday putting together a document with answers to some additional questions one interviewer had sent me! Shame I only started at 11pm!!!!:o

Wednesday is d-day for my next interview. It would be really nice if I got offered some other interviews too as that would take some of the pressure off Wednesday.... I've applied for a few roles where I know they haven't short-listed yet so fingers crossed!:D

Bye all for now.... and good luck with your money making schemes!
