Good morning everyone!
TooMuch, you sound like you are on a roll with the Bingo scratchies. I might try and join that later. It sounds like a good way to make money!
I am good, just waiting for payday to be honest, and also for my savings to be transferred over so I have some money to pay off my credit card. My OH has applied for a few part-time jobs so hopefully something will turn up. If he could even give me £200 a month to pay of the debts it would be brill and would make a big difference!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Afternoon all!
My one and only day off this week, huzzah!
Taken wee Gordon for a walk and made some new friends, hoping he'll fall asleep in a minute in his pen LOL....
Got my last ever pay cheque from current job, but it didnt include my redundancy pay so not sure if I get that at the end of the month or what?!
So bank balance is currently in positives, doesnt last for long though! LOL
Dont really want to pay too many overpayments this month as am now in the crossover between jobs, and my new job pays on the 15th of each month, so Im not sure if I will be on the payroll for this month, or have to wait till the next, in which case need to keep what money back that I can....
Need to think of what to review on dooyoo, really need to get back into that, have been too lax after moving etc!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
HI all
Still no luck on the job hunting front
TMD glad you had some luck on the scratchcards - I won £5 recently too. Withdrew another £10 from BP too this week...
Failed the grocery challenge, and had 3 takeaways in a month and bought new clothes on 3 different occasions so not my best debt busting month. Hopefully it will all work out somehow....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi SavingH,
Sorry to hear there is no luck on the job front yet. You have a couple of months before it happens don't you? I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

2 agencies rang me this afternoon. One is putting me up for a good salary job 15 miles away so that would be okay, permanent but with fewer future prospects. Another may shorlist me for a public sector job about 30 miles away, less money but excellent benefits and good long term prospects. I should find out Friday if I have made the final short list...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Good luck for those jobs SH :j
I loathe January. I know Black Monday was last week but currently feel I have my own personal rain cloud following me around. Ho hum it'll soon be Feb and then its the misery of valentines with no loved one. But then comes March when I fit it with all the mad hares
