I think its hard to stay focused at this time of year and a few treats aren't going to kill us (love the idea of hot chocolate & rum good winter drink!)

Very jealous of those not back at work until January. Never mind I'll just keep thinking of the pennies in the pay packet

    Hey CAFC,

Sounds like a nightmare, I have been on the side of your OH secretly withdrawing money until my little lightbulb pinged, with a gentle nudge from you ;)

I guess you can't just take the cards away and confrontation won't help either :(

Not sure what to suggest, hope you soon sort things out! A good thomp on the head might help :D

    Hi,

Have you lost your job CAFC? If so, I am so sorry to hear that. What a rubbish time to give you your P45 as well. Are you okay?

  • HI all - hope those will illness going round manage to get it all clear by xmas. My kids were under the weather last week but managed to stay in school.

I've had an okay day. I joined bingo p ort (free site) last week and have redeemed a £5 Amazon voucher already. I nearly have enough for my next £5 too so am really pleased. I think OH's hamper is done now. I went out to hobby craft earlier and bought a plain wooden door hanger which I've been decorating for my DD. I think it looks really sweet but it is currently still drying so I can't show you. I bought one for my DS too but I think I'll have to improve LOL before I can get started on his...

    SavingH,

Meant to say, your hampers are gorgeous!
