impossible to ring vodafone shops

I wanted to ring a vodafone shop, so got the number out the yellow pages, rang the number. The number has changed, and it gave me the new one. This number has also changed, said ring 194 from my handset. So I did. This number has also changed and it put me through to customer services

Asked them for the number of the shop, or put me through. No they don't keep the numbers, and couldn't transfer me!!!!!

How stupid is that!

All I want to do is find out if a phone is in stock before I drive for 30 mins to get to the shop,

Maybe it's just me, but has anyone else managed to phone through to a shop?

ive had no luck either,i gave up in the end.

I was told by customer services yesterday that they no longer give out numbers of stores and they cannot put you through either. He said the policy had changed and they were not allowed to do it anymore.
