I am wanting to send some gifts (probably a bottle of mulled wine or box of chocs or something like that) to seatle in the states. what is the best way to do this? Can i buy something on line from an american website to be delivered, and does anyone have any suggestions or know of any websites. Maybe some of the big stores in the states do this?
Hope you can help??????? :xmassmile

You'll need to be careful of edible goods too I'm afraid. My nan sent 4 sticks of rock to a friend in Canada. He received 3 and a note saying "Thanks for the rock regards Canadian Customs and Excise":D0

What im wanting to do is to order something on the internet from a shop in the states (to avoid paying shipping fees), but i dont know any shops, the place i need it delivering to is in seattle. Can anyone suggest any shops or chains of shops that would do this.0

I personally look on the net for shops in the area my family live(South Texas), and order that way. Flowers always go down well too
Sending goods overseas isn't so bad, as long as you label your goods correctly. I personally haven't had anything go missing, or opened by customs, but thats not saying it wont ever happen. Remember though, anything heavy will cost a great deal in postage.

I always order for my American relations on amazon.com. It's great as I don't pay the exobinate shipping fees as I would if I had sent them something from the UK and I get to pay for my gifts in US dollars.
Also the US Version of Amazon has a wider variety of shops then the UK site, so there really is something on there for everyone. :xmassign:0
