Unless your transaction was over £50 you wouldn’t have received a voucher. So if you just bought the Gamecube bundle and didn’t do the 20p charity donation or buy some other item to take the total to over 50, sorry Argos will refuse to give you a voucher.

Had to buy a pressie for ds's friend for his birthday, so I did spend over £50.00, will return to Argos tomorrow with the receipt! Thanks.

  • Great got it. Well the Currys one is going back now.

Incidentally, I did try and see if the Mario Kart Platinum package would be reduced, however at the tills it was coming up at £79.99.

Thanks to original poster, Ill be returning my Currys one, or should I ebay it?.

I would hope this deal continues until Xmas Eve (Probably will if they have enough stock to be honest) as I went in today to get some more as gifts but the controllers were out of stock and the till didn't print the 'Free item currently out of stock' message so I could either pay around £55 for Gamecube and Memory Card (No thanks!), reserve the items to collect when they are all in stock (So if they end the offer tomorrow as stated then that is useless!) or go to another store to buy (WAsn't really worth the hassle!)

    Got one thanks.
  • Hi
I got one of the bundles on tuesday night, put the game on ebay as I wasn't that interested in it and it sold for £30 so I now have some money to go and get some games I really want!

Thanks for the post, I've been after one of these for ages.

Went into Argos and a very nice lady gave me a £5.00 voucher - yippee!

  • If anyone missed out on this then take at look at this forum as Toys R Us are doing bundles for £49.99 - although that's without the extra controller and memory card.
