Yes I tried the 20p catalogue number on Ring And Reserve.

"Todays price for this item is £9999" :D

Going to try it in any Argos store which does not have the charity slips yet (Can't understand why they're still on the old slips...)

some stores ran out of the newer charity slips so have been putting the older slips out that were left over

just got mine gamecube, game, pad and memory card all for £49.99 great deal...thanks :xmassign:
So you can get the mario kart bundle with an extra game, memory card and controller so you end up having 2 games, the one in the bundle and teh free one for £49.99? Was this one advertised?

Also did anyone but the 3 years replacement cover for £13.99?
  • It states this on the website:

Free additional controller (567/6154) and memory card (567/1977) when you buy the Mario Smash Soccer Bundle (568/0676) and one of the games shown below. To receive this offer, add all 4 items to trolley. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other Gamecube offer. Offer ends 24th December 2005.

Upon reading it it does seem that one of the games should also come free as well (Sonic, Spiderman Incredibles etc) but I'm wary of the fact that it says not to be used in conjunction with any other GC offer. The £49.99 offer is in their special reduced leaflet and also, the website has the price for £79.99 so perhaps this is only a website only offer as the store one is £49.99?

Does anyone know if the £49.99 is still open today (Saturday)? I've reserved one, but not sure if it is worth making the trip if it is £79.99!

    Thanks to Johntea and Sinar!

I got the Mario Soccer bundle with the two extras *plus* the £5 voucher because I was able to donate a penny! The cashier knew straight away (possibly from my cheeky grin) that I wasn't doing it because I'm just a charitable person! ;)

So, in my case the charity catalogue code worked (although it gave me a shock when it first went in the system at £9999! - I'm not kidding!)

Shame I didn't buy £50 in vouchers first of all (like someone has done for other Argos items)...

so you buy £50 in vouchers and get £55 value for £50. Then pay the £49.99 with £50 worth of vouchers, so you do get your free £5 gf

in all argos in my area ,they will not let you buy a voucher,i tried on ps2 deal a few weeks ago.

Strange, I've tried this in half a dozen stores, with a nice smile on my face and the look of innocence, and they are fine about it. I used it on the PS2 deal myself......... PS2 for £100.99 plus £11 vouchers. Bargain!
    Waddle you do eh?

Leaflet states all offers valid between 8th December and 14th December. All offers subject to availability.

The Gamecube advert has 'Strictly Limited Stock' on it as well.
