    We've an open fire and love it. We burn a combination of wood and smokeless briquettes. There is nothing to beat the ambience provided by an open fire, it really cheers me up when dark winter evenings draw in or when its gloomy and rainy - light the fire, magic! :)

    There are lots of new techie stuff to make a fireplace the envy of your visitors. Just seen some great fire guards.
