Hi everyone
Please remember if you want to continue posting on the forum that you need to remain respectful to everyone you talk to on here, whether you agree with them or not.
Obviously by the very nature of what these boards are about people posting on here will come on already upset and possibly angry. Let's try to help calm them down and discuss the situation from a measured perspective rather than stoking the fire.
Thanks!
Andrea

Bumping the thread:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
"Marleyboy you are a legend!"
MarleyBoy "You are the Greatest"
Marleyboy You Are A Legend!
Marleyboy speaks sense
marleyboy (total legend)
Marleyboy - You are, indeed, a legend.0 -
We should also consider the possibility that we are being duped/scamed.
I gave contact info to a "victim" several days ago and they haven't acted on it....... competitor or disgruntled ex-employee of the company they rubished me thinks.0 -
Gentle reminders are great but the only thing that will really work is banning posters or something similar.
A bike forum I used to go on had a 'naughty corner' where people were sent and they could read but not post for a bit.0 -
MSE adopts a similar theme "PPR" Posting Privileges Removed, where a member is allowed to read posts but not post on them.Gentle reminders are great but the only thing that will really work is banning posters or something similar.

I was thinking the same thing
. We're just not naughty enough to have found out
.MSE adopts a similar theme "PPR" Posting Privileges Removed, where a member is allowed to read posts but not post on them.
It must get pretty crowded in there  from time to time I'd imagine :rotfl:. Is there some sort of 'Three strikes and out' arrangement for those who persist in being insulting and offensive? Thought I'd check in case I ever am
.
Seriously - I reckon if you treat others the way you would like to be treated................
There'll always be someone who will try to spoil your day
. It's just as well we don't have sound - or no doubt you'd hear "I think you'll find......" in one of those nasal UFO spotter voices :rotfl:. Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

I think those who use too many smiley faces should be sent to the naughty corner0

I don't
. They are useful in an environment devoid of facial expression and the spoken word - where the emotional tone isn't always evident. Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever
