Orange-Choose your own off peak

I wonder if anyone outroblem.

My husband and I(makes me sound very royal!!), have both been on Orange ''Choose your own off-peak'', payg tarriff for 5 years and are generally happy with it.
We also have the ''5 free texts for life'' feature; I think it's called ''Orange out here''; or it could be ''out there''.

Until recently we could change our off-peak times every thirty days.
Now we are unable to that any longer.
We asked in THREE Orange shop reps for advice and were told to dial 450 - option 3 - option 2- option 1 by the frst. This just got a message saying something like;- ''thankyou for ringing orange,we are unable to continue to process this call''.

The second one had a go on my phone himself, shrugged his shoulders and handed the phone back.

The third said to ring Orange.

I did this and was given a different set of calling instructions - 450 - option 2 - option 3;

This link was about e-mails so I called Orange again and this time a rep gave me the same instructions as the first shop rep, which I told him didn't work.

He also said that my tarriff was defunct and he ''expected'' that Orange had stopped allowing me to make changes apart from going on the new flat rate and thereby losing my lifetime texts.
Orange hasn't sent any notification of this so I think the rep was just talking out of the top of his head in order to get rid of me.

By now I was very annoyed and demanded my call charges to Orange for two calls to them,(50p) to be refunded which they were.

So now it hasn't cost me but I still don't know how to ''CHOOSE MY OWN OFF PEAK''.

HELP - HELP - HELP - HELP

IS ORANGE TRYING TO MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR :santa2: CUSTOMERS LIKE ME TO KEEP OUR OLD TARRIFFS;

OR ARE THEIR STAFF REALLY AS BADLY INFORMED AS IT SEEMS??

    I've got orange out here too, I guess they make it difficult for people as they want to get people off that tariff as they are not making any money from it. It's the same with my vodafone contract, which is is very old and much better value than what is available now. They are going out of there way to be difficult and get me on a new contract which will make them more money. They more or less admitted they wanted me off my current tariff as it wasn't profitable for them

    I have exactly the same set up. A Just Talk SIM card with Out Here on it. I have owned it for about five years and Out Here was put on the SIM about three years ago.

    I just rang 450 followed by the following options 3 -> 2 -> 1 -> and I was allowed to change my off-peak time band.

    I tried it a couple of times and on one occasion got the message that they were unable to process the call any further.

    I think this is a glitch in their (crap) system rather than them trying to shunt you off Out Here. Try a few more times and see what happens.

    I don;t know what tarrif I'm on with Orange, but have been advised to change it (been on the same payg for at least 5 years).

    Have been trying to change tarrif for last 2 weeks and keep getting the unable to process call message every time I ring
    Fat and proud lol
