  • morning all, hope you all had a decent night.

thanks morag i think chloe is just a regular no breed cat but i wouldnt have a clue really, she came form cats protection and only got looked at because she looked black until i was up close and could see all the brown in her, she won me over so despite having gone looking for another black cat i got chloe.

Good morning all! I slept from just before 8pm, so I demand not to be tired today! Although we all know it doesn't work that way!

Saucy - I have sold quite a lot on eBay. Anything specific you want to know? To be honest, I wouldn't get a shop, unless you have hundreds of items to sell. They're pretty expensive. And eBay recently changed the rules making it harder for shops - basically because so many actual shops were trading, and putting the prices up for everything.

They also recently changed the rules so the seller can't leave feedback for the buyer any more and they have set postage costs, so sometimes you have to lose money on postage. For example it's something really small for books, like £1.75. Great for a paperback - but what about hardbacks? My uni books often cost about £4/5 to send, and that means you are also paying for packaging costs on top - which can also be up to a pound, depending on size.

So I have gone right off eBay recently. I sold a lot of my books on Amazon but the same problem with postage happened. It's a bit higher, I think £3.75, but some of my uni books again cost about a fiver, plus packaging. And some didn't sell for that much - so it ate into my costs.

Did I actually answer your question then or go on a long ramble? The latter I do believe!

Thanks everyone for thinking of me!

I am actually shattered, and am going to bed now! I have a splitting headache. Not sure how I'm going to keep this up - but I keep hoping it will get better when I'm settled in and know what I'm doing. :)

Hope everyone else is okay. I couldn't read everything I missed, this headache is sending me cross-eyed!

Goodnight all. Hope you all have good evenings!
Hey, as long as you poke your head around the door when you can, don't worry about keeping up and reading everything.

Hopefully, the tiredness will abate a little as you get into the swing of things, and "learn the ropes" so to speak. Hopefully.:o

Saucy keeping paws, legs and eyes crossed for your interview.:o

Pcl, like Morag said, the C&W pics are super!

I'm going to take it easy today, as I've a Mensa meeting to go to tonight, and it's best if I'm not so tired that I'm talking Martian by the time we get there.:D

*waves* to everyone else - hope you're all busy with good things today.

  • I GOT THE JOB!
I didn't think I would, the role play was awkward, I turned up soaked by the rain, my eye was watering horrifically and my legs gave up half way through, but I did!
They will phone tomorrow or Monday with hours, starting date, etc.

Very tired and in pain now, will check back in later x
