Ridiculous business water bill!

Just trying to get a feel for how much people are paying for business water bills. The premises in question has 2 customer toilets and a total of 3 sinks. There is also a drinks machine that takes water from the main supply. I would say we use around 2 times the amount of water an average house uses.
My water bill for the last 6 months is…. £14,500! The previous water bill for the 6 months prior was £11,000 but I expected it to be high as we had a very bad leak for about 36 hours.
I know for a fact we haven’t had a leak on the premises this time, and we are on a metre. The water company is currently looking into the situation and have been for the last couple of months. Anyone have an idea of how much I should be paying?

Which water company are you with? Let us know and we'll be able to give you the charges breakdown.

Erm doesn't look like bristol water publish their business charges on their website (unlike my local water company).
Maybe you're best phoning and asking for a copy of the charges scheme, which will let you manually calculate your bill and see if its correct.
