I'm just about to phone and close a Halifax credit card which I've had since 2002. The balance of which was over £11,000  The balance is now zero and it's being closed in the next 5 minutes (subject to those idiotic buffoons who answer the phones actually closing the account and not doing what they usually do which is keep it open in the hope that I will run up more debt - and profit - for them).
Only another wee thing today in that I went to buy lemsips in Superdrug for £3.70 but then had a brainwave that they would be cheaper in the pound shop - walked another 20 ft and saved £1.70 :TAlmost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Hello......glad you are okay sophiesmum! Andan i think that is your longest list ever!!! Well my day has not in the end been that productive, have just got though the 2 journal articles i wanted to read. turns out nothing in them, total waste of time for my little brain and the essay i have to write.
