Pish and Tosh...i never have problems accessing the NW site. I've been on it twice already this morning and its fast and reliable. I had trouble with ING though,it said it wasnt processing any transactions...
  • http://www.nationwide.co.uk doesn't for me (and has been very unreliable since yesterday) but https://olb2.nationet.com/default.asp takes one directly to the internet banking login and all seems to be fine.
  • Just tried again using the google way I posted and then couldn't log off - got the 'error page'. Am I still logged on and now open to someone emptying my account? Don't need this as I'm stressed enough not knowing what's happened to my BACS transfer from Kaupthing IOM to NW being 'lost'!!

I don't think you are still logged on, it's just the page you are sent to after signing out is unaccessable. I don't think there are problems with the internet banking, just the home page is down.

For the record I have used Nationwide internet banking for years and it is far superior to most others.
  • Intermittent problems today. Just takes a couple of goes. Nothing ominous I'm

No..i just logged on to nationwide.co.uk and no problems, fast and seamless. Must be a localised problem to the OP. Either connection or pc issue.

Not been able to directly access Nationwide website since setting up a Flex account on Saturday - not impressed, should not have to use roundabout ways to get in, leaves me feeling a bit nervous about security.

You obviously dont have you card reader gadget yet then...

I find it hard work to use my own account with the security put in place so guess your hackers are going to have their work cut out

    No problem logging in here.

Wouldn't surprise me if some pranksters are fiddling with internet settings / DOS attacks on certain banks, just to add to the anxiety of people.

good call , i wouldnt put it past those types
