Citibank credit card pulling a fast one, maybe fraud

    The fact that the Citibank card was closed and there was a nil balance doesn't make any difference to CPP. Their policies cover ALL cards you have, whether you have one or twenty one. As far as i'm aware, some policies also cover important documents like passports/driving licences etc if they're lost or stolen.

    Just because your mother didn't have her Citibank card doesn't mean the policy would be cancelled, it would have continued to run until it was cancelled. If you cancelled it in 2010, you should send them a copy of that letter and request that they refund any premiums taken after that date.

    You say you know there is no money to come back from them so what is the point of your post ? You also say the policy was cancelled when she had her bag stolen, who cancelled it when that happened, and why ?
