Its not as though they hid the prices of the items, the sel's were on the shelf for you to see so you cant exactley say the items werent priced up

I've bought a six pack of coke once nd insisted they were scanned as 6 indivual cans as they were cheaper that way!

you cant insist on that as the 6 pack is a what it is which is a 6 pack, if you want 6 cans of coke then pick up 6 cans, plus the barcode on the multipack wouldnt scan anyway, did the CO scan it as you asked

I noticed a while back that it was cheaper in Morrisons to by 2 smaller packs of Bold Liquitabs than the supposed "bigger, better value" box. Its something I keep an eye on now.

multipack cans hadn't used to have a barcode if I remember correctly, the code was on the plastic casing holding the 6 cans.

I think Tradig Standards should be interested

You're acting as if it's done to spite you. It's just a simple oversight.
supermarket product pricing should be clear

The prices are clear, this thread had not been about incorrect prices. If you look on the label it always tells you price per unit weight, you can work out value that way.

What annoyed me today was a misleading sign (which I complained about) on the Razors.

Underneath ALL the Gillette Razors, was a sign saying all Gillette Disposable Razors (and 2 other items, can't remember) were BOGOF, so I picked up 2 x Gillette Blue 2 & when I got home, realised I'd been charged per pack.

Went back today - even the chap stocking the shelves said he thought I should be getting a BOGOF, but the Duty Manager said no - only the ONE range with a yellow label under it!!!

So why say ALL Gillette Razors? That's very misleading & according to Customer Services, there had been a lot of complaints & returns over the last couple of days regarding this!

I've noticed Tesco lately have got more creative with their pricing trying to make out they are discount big on food where to me they've number of discounts has reduced.

Looking at the Blackpool store they reduced the numbers of discounts food items in most ailses and put a smaller selection of pile them high sell them cheaper items at the entrence to make it look like they've got big reductions.

Here's a couple of examples of there creative pricing.
    Buy a 5 pack of Mars bars (58g) for £1.48 (29.6p each)
    Or buy 2 x 5 packs for £2.50 (25p each)
Near bought two packs when I noticed they were selling a 9 pack (58g per bar) for £2.07 (23p per bar)

I now notice on mySupermarket that they've stopped selling the 5 packs and now sell 6 packs but the 9 pack is still cheaper.

The next item is 250g of Tesco Jelly Beans, they started selling them a few months back for 63p, bought 2 packets, few weeks later I went for some more and the price had gone up to £83 so I only bought 1 packet. When in last week and the price was now 98p - I didn't buy any, they're taking the mic when their other 250g packs sell for 70-80p.

Finally when I was in last week they had a display of oral-b electric tooth brushes ranging from £6 to £25 that very nearly had me buying one, I must of looked at the display for 15mins then went to get food and came back for another 10mins - there was too much choice to make up my mind plus a 4 pack of refills cost £11 - in the end I picked up a normal twin pack of toothbrushes for 13p:D
