Labour Exchange, Corn Exchange or Telephone exchange?

The telephone exchange is where all the subscriber lines are terminated and connected to the PSTN ( public switched telephone network).
They also house the DSLAM (Digital subscriber line access modules) for broadband internet connections either to BT or other licenced operators.
There are thousands of telephone exchanges up and down the country. Have a look at the Samknows website.
