Big sympathies on the snoring. OH is a snorer - and falls asleep at the drop of a hat. Me - I can't sleep with any noise at all - so I have a race to get to sleep before she does!! Otherwise I just have to keep kicking her to stop her snoring until I drop off! :rotfl:

And don't get me started on shopping - spent a few hours in town today - horrendous! Don't these people know there is a recession?! Called into Woollies - nothing but empty shelves with the odd sad plant pot - only the pick and mix counter was still full. Felt very sad though. But apart from that within two hours I was ready to kill. Am sticking to internet shopping in future! Bah humbug!

You all make me smile. Well today i have spent too much as Mr.B decided we needed Xmas booze in as DD1 is coming home..don't know how that equates but i may just quaff a bit to get me to sleep.

I snore as well if i am stuffed up with cold or have had a bit to drink, so am looking forward to getting my own back..hehehe.

There was no sign of recession today as folk were out shopping, but i really think the shops do themselves an injustice by not dressing for Christmas or just keeping to normal sales if that makes sense, noone wants to shop Christmas Eve to find stock further reduced on Boxing day.I used to look forward to Jan1st sales..not anymore.

I know what you mean Miz, i was thankful most of mine had been done before..just 1 more pressie which i had forgotten about and that will be it.

Boiler man is coming tomorrow evening very obliging chap..just worried about the cost now, hopefully it will be cheap.

That's about it.Off for a mooch.

I'm not going anywhere near the supermarketsd or shops.
Only tesco express in an emergency ..the whole worlds gone mad!!!...
Hope boiler is cheap..plumbers and cheap don't go hand in hand but you never know..

He isn't a bad chap, a cheeky one, but i know him from my yoof so always try and wangle a discount. Just hope he can sort it really and i may just ask if he needs an apprentice so he can take on DS..who is not having much luck on the job front at the moment..lol

I feel for anybody looking for a job at the minute as there are so many people becoming unemployed.Great that you can get a discount.Hope your son finds something soon.
