I have got my checks all back, now for some work. Also have a couple of interviews lined up this week so will see on that one.
Thanks for the tips re the cakes, a lot of folk seem to want sponge cakes, i don't mind them but find it easier to ice fruit..also need to pay out for a hygeine licenece and there are alsorts of rules and regs about them. Have been thinking how to get around it without costing me a fortune, which is why i tend to do word of mouth.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

word of mouth much better bob...also need to have a balance and make sure you charge enough to make money as us crafty people tend to under charge!! Thought of you when I slid into my warm snuggly bed with new electric blanket ad probably uttered a simular sigh of utterly blissful contentment as you did when you got the new mattress!! ...little things eh!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! I agree ISOM, i think i get taken advantage of good style. My mate who's wedding i did well she never gave me the extra for the other tiers...so i am not bothering with her much any more. I hate being walked over like that when i am doing a favour for someone...feel like a right soft wuss over it, but she won't be getting anything out of me ever again!
Sorry for the wee rant..just bought it back.:o
Did my mystery shop, we all had dinner which was nearly all covered by expenses, and did some Christmas shopping at the same time, so essentially a free day out and another one for tomorrow!WHich will cover what i have spent on pressies today. I reckon present wise i am only £50 out from making it neutral..I don't have to buy for many this year as we all agreed to cut back or not bother(older nephews and nieces)due to lack of money on everyone's part. So just buying the babies..one more to buy for and that's me done.
My vouchers cover DD2 and DS1, DD1 i bought earlier in the year, so have to buy for son in law and then the older ones will be finished.:j
Cakes for mum and her partner, we are not bothering giving each other pressies as bought the mattress and i think that is enough luxury..bliss.If only OH would get his own, it would be even bigger bliss lol!:D
So that's my Sunday, off to input a million and one answers to questions. sheesh:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Bummer for a friend to treat you like that - you're bound to drop her, aren't you ... still, you had a great day today from the sound of it (me too, me too!) from a mystery shop, excellent.
How many babies are you buying for in total? Are you seeing any of them over Christmas? So nice to have babies around for Christmas....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
